What is Apple Pay?
Apple Pay is a mobile payment service and digital wallet from Apple. It allows you to make secure, contactless payments using your Apple devices (iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, or Mac).
Instead of using your physical credit or debit card, Apple Pay uses the cards stored in your Wallet app. Payments are authorized securely using two-factor authentication — simply with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode.
How to add Apple Pay in the ryd app
To pay even faster at the pump, you can easily add Apple Pay as a payment method:
Check the requirements: Make sure Apple Pay is set up in the Wallet app on your Apple device.
Open the ryd app: Open the ryd app on your iPhone or iPad.
Go to your account: Tap your Profile in the bottom-right corner.
Select payment methods: Go to Payment Methods and tap Add Payment Method.
Select Apple Pay: Choose Apple Pay from the list and confirm the setup using Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode.

The next time you refuel, you can select Apple Pay directly as your payment method and securely authorize the fuel amount.
