Sometimes ryd partner petrol stations may be temporarily offline due to technical issues and unavailable in the app. Our system works directly to resolve the issue, so the station will soon come back online automatically. Sometimes, one of our partner petrol stations may appear as “offline” in the ryd app or temporarily disappear from the map altogether.
Why does this happen?
Behind the scenes, a lot of technology comes together. If there is a temporary issue with the internet connection or the till system at the petrol station, our system automatically takes the station offline. We do this for your safety, to prevent errors during the payment process at the pump.
What can I do?
Wait for the automatic return: As soon as the technical issue on site has been resolved, our system will automatically bring the petrol station back online. You don’t need to do anything else.
Use an alternative: Simply take a quick look at the ryd map in the app. There is likely another ryd partner petrol station near you where you can pay by mobile as usual.
Refresh the app: Sometimes it also helps to fully close and restart the ryd app to reload the map data.
