ryd & MOBIKO: How to link your account and use your mobility budget

What is a “Connected Service” at ryd?

In your ryd app, you’ll find the Connected Services section under Profile/Settings (gear icon). But what does that actually mean?

It’s simple: Connected Services are external partners and service providers that you can securely connect to your ryd account. This makes it possible to set up practical, automated processes in the background. In the case of MOBIKO, this connection ensures that your fueling data is automatically and digitally sent exactly where it is needed for your mobility budget — without any paperwork.

1. Linking accounts — one-time setup

Linking your accounts only takes a few steps. You have two options:

Option A: Directly via the ryd app

Open the ryd app, go to your Settings (gear icon) in the profile menu, and tap the Connected Services menu item.

In the list of available services, you’ll find the MOBIKO entry. Simply tap Link next to it.

In the next window, log in with your usual MOBIKO login details — email and password — or conveniently via Microsoft login.

 

Confirm the data exchange between the two services — transfer of receipts, invoice date, amount, etc. — by tapping Yes or Agree.

 

Done! Once the connection has been established, MOBIKO will be shown in the list as Connected.

 

Option B: Via the Smart Deeplink

Alternatively, you can simply click the activation link — Smart Deeplink — that you received from your employer or directly in your MOBIKO app to open the ryd app and start the process directly.

2. Automatic fueling and billing: The everyday process

Once your accounts have been linked, your travel expense reimbursement runs completely in the background:

Fueling and payment: Pay for your fueling transaction as usual directly at the pump using the ryd app.

Automatic export: Within the next hour after payment, your digital receipt is automatically transferred to MOBIKO. You no longer need to collect, photograph, or manually submit paper receipts.

Tax optimization: MOBIKO’s system automatically applies the correct tax rates and keeps track of the statutory €50 tax-free limit for benefits in kind for you.

Reimbursement: The eligible reimbursement amounts are automatically sent to your company’s payroll department and paid out directly with your next salary.

3. Alternative options in the MOBIKO app — manual receipts and electric cars

If you are ever traveling outside the ryd network, you can use the following features directly in the MOBIKO app:

Manual upload: You can photograph and upload receipts in the MOBIKO app at any time.

The integrated text recognition — OCR — automatically captures the date and amount.

Invoice correction: If your ryd invoice needs to be corrected for any reason, there is no automatic upload to MOBIKO. In this case, after ryd sends you the new invoice version, you must upload the invoice yourself via the MOBIKO app and contact MOBIKO customer service.

4. Disconnecting

No longer want to use your ryd account with MOBIKO? You can disconnect the link at any time in your profile under Settings → Connected Services. Simply tap the active status or the button to disconnect.

5. Problems and support: Who helps with what?

To make sure you get help quickly when needed, please contact the responsible support team depending on your issue:

Problems with the fueling process or the ryd invoice

When? If a payment at the pump has failed, the ryd app shows an error, or you need a subsequent adjustment to your ryd invoice.

Who? Please contact ryd customer support directly.

Contact: Submit a support request

Questions about budget, taxes, or payout

When? If you have questions about your remaining mobility budget, a receipt was rejected in the MOBIKO app, or a reimbursement amount did not appear on your payslip.
