Here you can find out how to pay for your fuel, car wash code, or EV charging directly via the ryd app. We support common payment methods such as credit cards (Mastercard, VISA, AMEX), PayPal, Amazon Pay, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Learn everything about the requirements, restrictions for EC cards, and how to add your payment method to your ryd account.
With the ryd app, you can pay for fueling, charging, or washing in no time directly from your car. Simply add one of the following payment methods to your profile:
Supported payment methods
Credit card: Mastercard, VISA, and American Express (AMEX).
PayPal: Use your existing linked PayPal account.*
Amazon Pay: Log in using your Amazon account.
Apple Pay & Google Pay: Pay conveniently via your digital wallet.
⚠️ Important exceptions & restrictions
To ensure everything runs smoothly when paying at the pump, please note the following:
• No pure EC/Giro cards: Payment via Apple Pay and Google Pay only works if a credit or debit card is stored there. Pure EC cards are unfortunately not supported.
• PayPal accounts: * Unfortunately, new PayPal accounts can currently no longer be added to ryd.
A PayPal account cannot be shared. It can only ever be linked to a single ryd account.
