What is the ryd Android Automotive app?

ryd brings payment for fueling, charging, and washing directly to your car’s display. Thanks to our integration into the app stores of many car manufacturers, you no longer need to pick up your smartphone while driving. You can handle everything conveniently via your dashboard.

Where is the app available?

The ryd app is currently being rolled out in the in-vehicle app stores of various manufacturers.

What the app can do

  • All in one app: Pay for fuel, charge your electric car, or buy tickets for the car wash.

  • Smart filters: Easily filter the map view by fueling, charging, or washing.

  • Clear list view: Find stations near you, sorted by distance.

  • Secure payments: Your data and payments are maximally protected (including Strong Customer Authentication where required).

Getting started (first steps)

  • Sign in & register: Open the ryd app in your car. From the welcome screen, you can sign in directly or scan a QR code to conveniently complete the login on your smartphone.

  • Add a payment method: Currently, payment in the Automotive app is only possible by credit card. You can add your card directly in the app or via the QR code on your phone.

  • Profile & wallet: In your profile, you can manage your payment methods and view your recent transactions.

How it works on the road

  • Find a station: Use the list on the left to see stations near you. The map is for orientation and automatically zooms as you scroll through the list. Station selection is always done via the list.

  • Start a transaction: At supported stations, the app guides you directly to selecting the pump or service.
