Invite your friends to ryd—it pays off for both of you! You (the referrer) receive a 10 cent/liter discount for every friend who fuels a total of 100 liters with ryd. Your friends (new customers) start immediately with a 3 cent/liter discount and unlock an additional 5 cent/liter voucher after fueling 100 liters.
All you have to do is share your personal code from the "Refer a Friend" section in your profile. Here is a step-by-step guide on how it works and which rules apply.
For Referrers (How to invite friends)
Already using ryd? Then share your enthusiasm (and your code)!
Requirement: You must have paid for at least one successful fueling transaction with ryd to unlock your invitation code.
It's this simple:
- Find the feature: Open the ryd app, go to your profile, and click on "Refer a Friend".
- Share your code: Click on "Invite a friend" or copy your personal code directly from the app. You can easily share it via WhatsApp, email, or other messenger services. (Find detailed instructions here: Instruction: Refer a Friend)
- Receive your reward: Once a friend you referred has fueled a total of 100 liters with ryd, you automatically receive a discount of 10 cents per liter. This discount can be redeemed with all payment methods and can even be combined with other discounts. (See below for info on gift cards). Please note that up to 5 Vouchers can be combined with one transaction.
- Track progress: You can check the progress of your invited friends at any time under "Refer a Friend" in your profile.
For Friends (How it works for new customers)
You’ve been invited? Welcome to ryd! Here is how to secure your benefits:
Requirement: You are a new customer (you have never had a ryd account before).
It's this simple:
- Download app & register: Download the ryd app and create a new account.

Enter code: Go to "Vouchers" in your profile and enter your friend's invitation code.
- Note: If you have had a ryd account in the past, you cannot participate. The app will display the error "Voucher code cannot be validated."

Receive discounts: Two vouchers are automatically stored for you:
- Immediate discount: 3 cents per liter for your very first refueling.
- Loyalty discount: 5 cents per liter. This is unlocked once you have fueled a total of 100 liters with ryd. It will be automatically applied to your next fueling transaction.
Important for new customers:
- Each of the two discounts can be used only once.
- The discounts cannot be combined with other promotions or vouchers.

Payment methods: Valid when paying with Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay, Apple Pay, MBway, or Bluecode.
⚠️ Were you referred before November 15th?
We have updated our "Refer a Friend" campaign. For existing customers (referred before the cutoff date), there is a transitional regulation with adjusted discounts (2 cents/liter and 5 cents/liter). Good to know: The Rules
To ensure everything runs smoothly at the pump, please note the following conditions:
- Validity: The discounts apply to a maximum of 100 liters per fueling process.
- Divisibility: A discount always applies to exactly one fueling process. It cannot be split (any unused liters expire).
- Region: The campaign is valid only within the Eurozone.
- Non-liter fuels: For fuels such as hydrogen, a flat rate of 2 EUR turnover counts as 1 liter.
- Restriction: The "Refer a Friend" campaign does not apply to EV charging.
💡 Pro Tip: Using ryd Gift Cards
Did you receive your 10 cent discount as a referrer and also have a ryd Gift Card? Good news: You can use both!
The app always automatically deducts the amount from your gift card first.
- Case A: Is your fuel amount higher than your credit balance? The 10 cent discount is immediately applied to the remaining amount.
- Case B: Does your credit cover the entire fuel bill? No problem! Your 10 cent discount does not expire. It will be automatically transferred to your next fueling.
