What happens if the charging session fails?
If a charging session is unsuccessful or doesn’t start at all, we will fully release the €80 pre-authorization as soon as we receive the relevant data from the charging station operator. You won’t be charged any costs.
When exactly will the reserved amount be released?
We release the amount as soon as we receive the final data from the charging station operator. Sometimes there can be delays. Rest assured: your payment provider will automatically release the blocked amount after 30 days at the latest. In most cases, this happens much sooner.
I see multiple reserved amounts—what can I do?
This can happen if you tried to start a charging session multiple times. Each charging attempt triggers a separate €80 authorization on your payment method, even if the session ultimately wasn’t successful.
These holds remain in place until we receive the final transaction data from the charging station operator so we can release them. If you see several of these pending amounts and want to get it resolved, please contact our support team via the contact form.
